CHPT: 4.

The Pope is the infallible God on earth.

To question this statement at the time of its printing would incur the attention of the never seeing eye of the Church of Rome.

Kings and Kingdoms that defied this Papal statement, were soon destroyed and their streets flowed red.

The period of the Reformation was fraught with peril for anyone that preached the five Solas. Sola Christus (by Christ alone), sola Gratia (by Grace alone), sola Fede (by Faith alone), sola scriptura. (By the scriptures alone) Sola del Gloria. (All Glory to God alone.).

The five sola’s were a direct threat to the legitimacy of the Papacy and its institutions. The Five Sola’s are considered Heretical to the Catholic Church. The historical proof of this statement is borne out by the persecutions of law-abiding Christians, through the means of torture, hangings and destruction of entire families and nations. The focus of the inquisition at that time, was to root out and destroy every and anyone, that believed in the true Gospel message. The position of Rome was reaffirmed during Vatican II, with the following statement.

“Any that believes that man is saved by faith alone, let him be accursed.”
