(Sorted by "income")
Please notice that names also match revenue values. This is because the "sort" feature is capable of keeping the rows aligned even though you order data by one column. If you want to change the customer names order, repeat those steps, and pick "customer" from the drop-down "filter by." Columns are still correctly spaced, but rows are arranged again, depending on the name of the consumer.
CONDITIONAL DELIVEMENT
Data sorting does not highlight certain cells that may need to stand out amongst others. You would want to know, for example, which customers had sales within a certain range. You may want to know which customers had income below or above a specified threshold. All of your records can be sifted, but conditional formatting that changes the font or background makes these cells stand out much more and make them easier to find. You can quickly identify the customers who purchased and contributed revenue to your profits with a short customer revenue list that includes only 20 rows, but if you had thousands of records, such a sorted list would make it difficult to locate individual records.
Excel has a "conditional formatting" feature that adjusts the color of a cell's font or a cell's background color to make it stand out and easy to find when you're searching for certain values that fulfill a condition.
