For the most part, the MacGreagors remained quiet the whole time they crossed Cameron land. Some of the guards wore Cameron kilts to make it appear the MacGreagors were being escorted, or perhaps were captives. It was a good plan. Neil kept them two days south of the Cameron village, just in case Laird Cameron had made an alliance with Laird MacDonald. After the plague, very little was heard from the Camerons and Neil had never met their new laird. He did hear, however, that Laird Cameron was terrified of Laird Campbell.
