I did IT!!!! After eighteen years, it’s done!!! I’m not a virgin anymore!

Details? Why, I never would be so crude! Let’s just say that the first time was kind of ugh and the second time was rainbows and sparkles and everything they say. I’m blushing so hard just thinking about it.

Cal’s parents’ cottage in Quebec was adorable, and afterward, we drove to these caves carved out of a mountainside. It’s a place Cal loves. He kept telling me to take in the view and the sound of the waterfall, but honestly, I only had eyes and ears for him.

The one thing I kind of didn’t like was how he coached me through it. He kept asking how I was doing, so patiently—which is actually great, totally great, because it means he cares about consent, and so do I, but maybe there should be a limit on how many times you have to ask? It made me feel like he thought people were watching us or something.

In the caves, though, he kept his arm around me the whole time, and then I knew he cared. I mean, he better care! Thinking he doesn’t is just irrational. Why else would he be so sweet and patient with me when I’m such a mess most of the time?

When we said goodbye, I told him I loved him… and he said it back!
