A member of the Force Account team uses a lift to replace damaged siding on the water tower at Palmetto State Park in 1991. Company 886 had originally built a coursed sandstone base for the water tower and topped it with vertical split-log siding that resembled a raised palisade. In 1946, the tank was encased in a steel frame, and the vertical siding was replaced with horizontal cedar clapboards. (TPWD)
