Best known for its seasonal mushroom ice cream, this quirky ice cream shop has been hitting Fort Braggâs sweet spot since 2000. The infamous funghi flavor isnât as disgusting as one might imagine; the mushrooms in question are candy caps, and youâd be hard-pressed to distinguish it from maple ice cream in a blind taste test. The shopâs other unique flavors include root beer float, chai, huckleberry, ginger, and pear sorbet, but picky eaters donât need to worryâthe usual favorites also make the cut. Dairy is sourced from Sonoma County cows, and local ingredients are used whenever possible. Thereâs plenty of seating at the retro chairs and tables, or take your cone, cup, or sundae to go and window shop along Fort Braggâs main drag.
