Pamela: In this sample, the spiral U-bend link is worked in 14-gauge hammered copper wire. Create a coil using 18-gauge wire and pull it open to allow a wide space between each loop of the coil. Using 20-gauge copper wire, secure the coil to the main link by wrapping the wire over the arm of the main link and then over (through) one loop of the coil. Use the excess wrapping wire at the beginning and end of the wrap to create cluster bead wraps.
