Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
Combine baking soda, flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, salt in a mixing dish.
Mix the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vanilla extract, and white vinegar in a separate mixing dish.
Mix thoroughly after each addition as you gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ones.
Between the prepared cake pans, distribute the batter equally.
A toothpick placed in the center of the cakes should come out clean after 30-35 minutes of baking.
The cakes should cool in the pans for 10 minutes before being moved to a wire rack to finish cooling.
